Charlie Lisanti

Charlie Lisanti is the Director of Finance Information Technology & Innovation at Virginia Tech. In this role, he oversees the technology supporting all aspects of the Division of Finance’s business. His responsibilities include driving the strategy for leveraging digital services within the division, ensuring operational and infrastructure support, and maintaining information security for sensitive data. Additionally, Charlie’s team focuses on innovative application development and process optimization.

As a native of the New River Valley and a graduate of Virginia Tech, Charlie brings a wealth of experience to his position. His previous role as Information Technology Shared Services Manager at Moog involved leading a diverse team that provided IT support across two operating groups and multiple facilities worldwide. His expertise and background make him well-suited for his current role at Virginia Tech.
