WHAT WE DO

Treasury Services is responsible for the overall management of the treasury function at Virginia Tech. This includes working capital management, with average balances over $750M, and debt management and issuance. Our office also maintains key relationships with financial institutions, rating agencies, and other key external partners.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Treasury Services team is to provide stewardship of the university’s financial resources through effective debt, investment, and liquidity management, thereby supporting the university’s strategic initiatives and exemplifying the university’s values & motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve).
